Awards | Published 17/06/2019

As a result of our recent Queen’s Award win for Innovation, we were invited to Buckingham Palace to attend a special evening reception for 2019’s winners.

On Tuesday June 11th, our CEO Jeff Dewing and Chief Systems Architect James Blackman, travelled to the capital with the honour of representing Cloudfm; the first facilities management company in ten years to receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

At the exclusive event, Jeff and James enjoyed the opulent surroundings of the Palace, meeting other winners and members of the Royal Family, including HRH The Prince of Wales.

Cloudfm was one of only 201 companies, out of 630 applicants, selected in 2019 to win a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

The awards are the most prestigious awards for UK business, designed to recognise and encourage outstanding achievements in the fields of Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility) and are personally approved by Her Majesty The Queen.
