The extreme weather conditions in the UK this week have caused disruption more widespread and more severe than has been seen for several winters. The impact on the UK economy will doubtlessly be significant.

However, the economy has not come to a halt. Restaurants are open, shops are trading, students are studying and tradespeople are continuing to keep people’s houses warm and dry.

At Cloudfm, we’ve been doing our bit to keep Britain’s businesses running throughout the wintry weather.  With our cloud-based helpdesk system, we’ve been able to keep 100% of our helpdesk team online and working this week – even though blocked roads have prevented many of our staff from getting to our operations centres.

Furthermore, our engineering team have kept on the road throughout this week, with our own engineers completing an average of 94% of planned maintenance activities.

With next week’s forecast still uncertain in some parts of the UK, Cloudfm will continue to work to deliver the most effective FM solution, whatever obstacles we have to overcome to do that.
