On Saturday 8th June, Cloudfm hosted its first ever Trailblazer Conference, bringing together office and field-based staff from all over the UK and Europe to hear about the company’s exciting growth journey.
At Cloudfm, we’re changing an industry. That means looking to the future, staying ahead of the game and being the best we can be. Our staff are integral to achieving this. The work that they do, their knowledge and their skills are key to Cloudfm’s Trailblazer success. The conference therefore provided a great platform to collaborate, share ideas and contribute to the journey.
With a 40ft rocket suspended from the ceiling, CEO Jeff Dewing inspired the audience with his opening speech and an overview of the day. A highlight was the launch of Cloudfm’s new values as well the insightful, hands-on workshops that ran throughout the day.
The event also featured an incredible guest speaker, Mandy Hickson, who entertained us with stories from her amazing career as a fast jet pilot for the RAF. After years of hard work, numerous knockbacks and sheer determination, Mandy achieved her ambition to become a Royal Air Force pilot, going on to fly a Tornado GR4 on the front line. Mandy’s enthusiasm and humour set the audience on fire as she regaled stories from her career, and gave us an insight into how vitally important it is to set goals in life, and to have the determination and desire to achieve those goals, no matter what obstacles may come your way.
