This week, we held our first all-company catch up and business update – Stop the floor.
Broadcast live so that every team member could join wherever they were, members of our Leadership Team took to the floor to update the entire company (including our Barcelona and Dublin offices) with the latest company news. It was a great chance to get together and hear the latest developments and achievements within Cloudfm and for the teams to ask any questions they may have.
Lisa Johnstone – IT Project Manager – shared some updates about Cloudfm’s state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) project. We recently announced that Cloudfm has formed a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with the University of Essex. Together, we will research and build advanced monitoring, control and prediction solutions, to implement across our clients’ complex estate assets. We are very excited to be working with PizzaExpress, one of the most popular casual-dining brands in the UK, to implement IoT in its estate of restaurants. Through more intelligent maintenance of its assets, PizzaExpress will not only improve financial sustainability but also minimise its carbon footprint.
Stop the floor was also a great opportunity for the first ever presentation of our staff Be Our Best awards. The awards celebrate and recognise team members that embrace and live our values – empathy, integrity, humility and freedom. Nominations are open to everyone and there’s no limit on how many people can win an award each month, giving more people the opportunity to be recognised. Five well deserved employees received an award and were commended by their fellow colleagues.
