With the world facing the unprecedented crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I want to reassure you that we’re doing everything we can to keep people safe, as well as ensuring that we’re able to deliver an ongoing service to our clients during this time.
How we’re managing the crisis
We have formed a critical committee, made of senior leaders and specialists across the business. The committee are continually monitoring guidance and advice from the Government, assessing risks to individuals and changing practices accordingly. We’re also reviewing and updating our business continuity plans to ensure that we can continue to deliver the high levels of service our clients expect.
Our helpdesk continues to operate 24/7, with the team working remotely, and you can continue to contact us as normal. For our engineers that are performing vital on-site maintenance that can’t be done remotely, we have put strict hygiene and social distancing measures in place to keep everyone safe.
Due to many of our clients having temporarily closed their stores and restaurants we have maintained a critical team who will continue to run the business. We have then had to take the incredibly difficult decision to furlough a large number of our employees.
We are communicating regularly with our employees directing them to the latest advice from the Government and NHS, as well as providing access for them to emotional support, financial advice and ways to help cope with this new way of life. We’ve set up a Hardship Fund, through donations from our senior team, for employees most in need.
We’re supporting furloughed employees to volunteer to help the NHS or their local community by offering free use of their company vehicles and paying their fuel. And we’re really proud to see so many of our fantastic colleagues putting themselves forward to help the nation.
How can we help you?
You can rely on Cloudfm to support your business through this crisis, and I’m pleased to confirm that we have specialist suppliers on hand to offer a deep clean service at our client sites. Please do reach out for any additional support that you need.
Finally, I would like to say thank you to our dedicated employees, our supply chain partners and our clients for pulling together during this crisis. Our thoughts go out to everyone that is being affected by the virus.
Take care of yourselves, your families and communities, and stay safe.
