PRESS RELEASE

Cloud wins multi-million-pound landmark partnership with Vue facilities management.

Cloud has secured a three-year facilities management contract with the UK’s market-leading cinema operator, Vue, strengthening its position in the hospitality and leisure sector.

The agreement, which goes live on 26 October 2026, will see Cloud provide planned and reactive maintenance services across Vue’s UK estate, supported by its technology platform to improve operational visibility, governance and control over maintenance spend.

Vue selected Cloud following a competitive procurement process, with the company’s technology-led approach, transparent reporting, strong governance and established national supplier network all contributing to the appointment.

Vue’s property team’s message to their front-line cinema operatives is:

‘You focus on the customer, we focus on the building’

The contract comes as Vue continues to invest in its estate and enhance its customer experience, ensuring it continues to offer the best big-screen experience. Vue is committed to bringing the latest technology to venues across the UK, with exciting new elements including its largest screen, EPIC; its new retail concept, Vue Your Way; and Laser by Barco projection technology.

Kelly Drew, Operations Director at Vue UK & Ireland said: “We wanted a facilities management partner that could help us run our estate more efficiently while giving us greater visibility and control. Cloud’s technology-led approach, transparent reporting and operational expertise made it the right fit for Vue. We’re looking forward to working closely with the Cloud team over the next three years to drive continuous improvement across our estate to provide our customers with the best possible experience.”

Rather than relying solely on traditional FM delivery, Cloud combines facilities management with proprietary technology to give customers greater visibility of estate performance, compliance and maintenance activity. This approach is designed to help organisations make better operational decisions while improving efficiency across multi-site portfolios.

Jeff Dewing, CEO of Cloud, said: “Vue is one of Europe’s best-known leisure brands. They sought a partner that could bring greater innovation, transparency and control to facilities management, and that’s exactly what we’ve built our business to deliver.

“Facilities management should do far more than respond when something breaks. It should give organisations the insight to make better decisions, improve operational performance and manage their estates more effectively. By combining experienced people with advanced technology, we’ll help Vue achieve those goals over the next three years. I’m incredibly proud of everyone at Cloud who has helped secure and mobilise this partnership. Winning a contract of this scale reflects the quality of our people and the commitment they bring to every client.”

Katie Harvey, Group Operations Director at Cloud, said: “Preparing a national estate for day one takes a huge team effort. Our operations, technical and supplier management teams will work closely together throughout mobilisation to ensure we’re ready from the moment the contract begins. We’re looking forward to working as an extension of Vue’s team, delivering consistent service, clear communication and the operational insight needed to support their business for the long term.”

The appointment adds to Cloud’s growing portfolio of hospitality clients and reflects increasing demand from multi-site operators for facilities management partners that can combine service delivery with technology, data and greater operational oversight.
