Last year, we announced that our groundbreaking FM model was launched to the Spanish market, in a joint venture with Optima Facility, marking the next stage in our push into Europe. Following this, we are delighted to announce that Cloudfm hosted its first thought-leadership event at its Barcelona office, with resounding success.
The event was designed to stimulate debate around the optimal management of outsourced maintenance services, and to share valuable insights into how the current norms of the industry might be disrupted to reap rewards for all parties involved.
Chris Drew, Chief Financial Officer at KFC UK & Ireland featured as our keynote speaker. Mr Drew outlined the ways in which the Cloudfm service has enabled KFC to transform its FM from a troublemaking cost to an investment which supports the company’s business objectives. He explained to the group of client- and provider-side industry specialists how Cloudfm’s robust methodologies and real-time visibility have unlocked extra value and positively contribute to KFC’s bottom line.
Detailing his experiences working with Cloudfm, Mr Drew explained said that with the right data, presented in the right way– at Board level – FM can be transformed from a headache-inducing necessary evil to a useful way of driving efficiencies in expenditure, including capex investment. He added that controlled process, dependable data, and a commitment to doing the right thing for mutual benefit, can revolutionise the value that can be extracted from an FM budget.
Having proven the success of our market-leading approach in the UK, we’re very proud to be leading the dialogue around the transformation of the FM industry in Europe. The international momentum that our radically different partnership formula has gained is fantastic and this has been a really promising start to the positive evolution of FM provision across Spain and the rest of Europe.
