Cloudfm prides itself on employing outstanding people and Peter O’Rourke is no exception.  A Stores and Logistics Coordinator at Cloudfm, Peter will be mounting his bike on March 9th, to embark on a 350 mile bike ride across Normandy in France. He will be taking on this incredible challenge to raise money for the charity Help for Heroes, which helps to provide better facilities for British servicemen and women who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty.

The challenge takes place from the 9th to 15th June, marking the 75th anniversary since the D-Day landings. Peter, a former soldier of 24 years, will be cycling alongside 200 fellow fundraisers and veterans across historic battle sites including Normandy’s iconic beaches and Pegasus Bridge.

A volunteer for the charity, Peter hopes to raise £2,850 to help make a real difference to the lives of injured and wounded veterans, serving personnel and their families.

You can visit Peter’s Just Giving page to donate online.
