Continuing its expansion apace, Cloudfm has opened a new 5,000 sq ft hub at Mead Park Industrial Estate, Harlow, with local Conservative candidate and Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills Robert Halfon cutting the ribbon to mark the company’s expansion into the area.

The new Harlow hub brings the company’s current portfolio of buildings to five – with both a head office and operational premises in Colchester, and a recently-opened facility in Newark, as well as offices in London.

Comprising offices for account and supply chain management, help desk, and compliance functions, as well as space for training, a base for service delivery, and a 24/7 rapid-response spares facility, Cloudfm’s site at Harlow will accommodate a proportion of the company’s planned growth.

“Our new hub at Harlow is an important part of our strategy for growth and excellence,” said Jeff Dewing, CEO at Cloudfm Group. “It’s an ideal location in terms of further improving the efficiency and speed of our UK-wide service coverage, plus it’s also a great place to be to attract the best new talent, thanks to the specialist educational centres in the area. We see this expansion as a key component in the raising of our service delivery standards – which are already very high – resulting in tangible benefits for both existing and new clients.”

Commenting on Cloudfm’s decision to locate their latest new hub in Harlow, Robert Halfon, Conservative candidate for Harlow and Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills, said: “I’m delighted to see that Harlow’s investment in industry-relevant education is bearing fruit, and attracting employers of Cloudfm’s calibre to the town. It’s heartening to know that students of the new Harlow Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Centre, and also of Sir Charles Kao UTC – our science and engineering academy – will have opportunities to grow their careers locally, with companies that are leaders in their field.”
