With the cricket season at its height, we’re in the middle of a run of very exciting games at the Cloudfm County Ground. This evening, Essex Eagles are taking on Glamorgan in the T20 Vitality Blast, with the Eagles looking to recover from a hard-fought loss to Surrey in the same competition.
Aside from the limited-overs and County Championship action, the Cloudfm County Ground also saw the recent final of the international women’s T20 tri-series between England, New Zealand and South Africa. The final was contested between England and New Zealand, with England’s women coming out comfortable victors in the end, winning by seven wickets.
Chelmsford is also gearing up for the visit of India later this month. Currently playing a three-match one-day series in England, the number-one ranked test side in the world will visit the Cloudfm County Ground for a warm-up match against Essex, ahead of the test series between India and England next month. We’re looking forward to four days of the highest-quality cricket.
