Cloudfm raised £7,000 for the Colchester based CHAPS charity at their Christmas party. The raffle and silent auction featured prizes from suppliers and contacts worth over £10,000 including a holiday, gift vouchers, TV’s, weekend breaks and hampers.
Jeff Dewing, Cloudfm’s CEO comments:
“The annual raffle is an important feature of our Christmas party and our aim is to raise valuable funds for a local charity. This year, we selected CHAPS and I’m delighted that we have been able to raise so much money to help them continue their important work. Our suppliers have been very generous with their prize donations and have made a massive contribution to our fundraising efforts”.
Chris Booth, the Trustee of CHAPS, who also attended the event said:
“I would like to thank Jeff, his suppliers and all of the staff at Cloudfm who purchased tickets. The money raised will help us to continue our work in raising awareness of men’s health issues”.
Originally founded as a local prostate cancer charity in Colchester, CHAPS now aims to raise awareness and support the development of new health services directly targeted at men’s health. More information can be found here www.chaps.uk.com
