Our partnership with University of Essex, has continued to deepen over the 5 years since we began our collaboration.
This summer, one of our key advocates, Dr Faiyaz Doctor PhD FHEA MIEEE, attended the 19th IEEE System of Systems Engineering Conference in Tacoma, WA USA, to share the story of the development of our Mindsett platform and specifically Mindsett PRISM® that is gradually taking the facilities management and asset worlds by storm.
“In the Facilities Management (FM) industry, the ability to gather effective appliance (asset) data at low cost is a key driver of the quality of services. A challenge faced by leading FM companies such as Cloudfm Group Ltd is the time consuming, resource intensive, and error prone process of verifying the type of appliances that are connected to Appliance Load Monitoring (ALM) units for monitoring their operating behaviour and energy consumption. The ground-breaking work of Cloud’s R&D team working closely with the University of Essex Computational Intelligence and IoT team, is now recognised as a unique, and best in class solution.”
Dr Doctor is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Intelligent Connected Societies Group at the Centre for Computational Intelligence, School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at The University of Essex.

We would like to thank him and members of the Essex team, Socretquuliqaa Lee and Dr Hossein Anisi who work so closely with our own Product R&D champions, Xiao Wang, Cody Yang, Shashank Goud and Stuart Ruthven.
