Last weekend saw the third annual Cloudfm family fun day. Each Summer we put on a day of activities and entertainment for our employees and their families, held in the green and leafy surroundings of the Colchester and East Essex Cricket Club.
The event was open to all employees, their families – young and old – and the various friends and associates of the business. The younger members of the gathering were entertained with a wide range of fun activities, and also enjoyed a mini tombola which raised more than £300 for The Sepsis Trust – the national charity which campaigns for greater awareness around sepsis, and funds research into treatments.
The older members of the party enjoyed artisan pizzas, handmade to order in a mobile wood-fired pizza oven, as well as all the refreshments suitable for a long hot day in the English Summer time.
Guests of all ages joined in with a fun game of cricket, for which Aaron Beard and Sam Cook, two of the rising stars of the championship-winning Essex County Cricket Club side, played team captains. Indeed, several members of the party kept Aaron and Sam occupied for nearly an hour afterwards, testing their skills in the Cricket Club’s practice nets.
Cloudfm would be nothing without the skill and dedication of its team members, and we like to take every opportunity that presents itself to say thank you.
