As its client roster grows larger and more diverse, Cloudfm Group is pleased to announce the appointment of new Account Manager, Lloyd Daley. Bringing many years’ experience in facilities management, Lloyd is the perfect addition to help build Cloudfm Group’s reputation for excellence.
Lloyd’s introduction to facilities management began like many others in the industry. After a successful career as an engineer, he was handpicked to move to the management side of the business and hasn’t looked back. “To me, FM is all about helping people,” says Lloyd on his move from engineer to manager. “Having the first-hand experience of what it’s like to be out there doing the work, I know exactly what engineers face on a day-to-day basis. It means I can relate to them and hopefully give the client a better, more thorough service.”
During his time in the FM industry, Lloyd’s previous accounts have included huge names such as Apple, the Financial Times, Aon UK, Lloyds Register and the International Bank of China.
“What’s great about Cloudfm is the autonomy and respect you’re given,” says Lloyd. “Jeff (Dewing, CEO of Cloudfm Group) really believes in his staff. And that makes people want to work harder. They genuinely feel positive about the job they do and constantly strive to do better. There are a lot of other companies out there that don’t understand how important people are to a business. It doesn’t matter how good your technical system is, if you don’t have the confidence in your team you’re never going to make a difference.”
Lloyds’ new role will see him working with fashion brands Oasis, Warehouse, and Karen Millen and Coast, as well as identifying further opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
