Engaging our people is one of our top priorities at Cloudfm and that’s why we bring our engineers together twice every year for our company conference.
Chief Executive Jeff Dewing knows exactly how it feels to be out in the field from his days as an engineer and how easy it is for a disconnect to develop between the people on the front line and the company they work for. That’s why Cloudfm places so much importance on its twice-yearly conferences, an opportunity for our engineers to feel a part of the business, to understand how they are making a difference to our customers and how we plan to continue our growth. The conference is also an opportunity for the management team to listen and hear feedback from the largest customer facing team within the business.
On 16 December, more than 100 engineers from across the UK joined our management team for an interactive and inspiring day. This year the conference was more interactive, exciting and fun than ever before. In between party poppers, charades and pass the parcel (we assure you it was all relevant!), there were interesting and lively sessions from the management team including some great news about the innovative technical skills training our Academy will be delivering in next year as well as our new employee reward strategy.
The conference was followed by the Cloudfm Christmas party, a great way to celebrate what has been another fantastic year for Cloudfm and our people.
