Mapping our success for ESG

Cloud is building a resilient business that has a positive impact on the environment and its people. This is achieved by assessing our impacts across ESG, setting the direction we want to travel, and the goals that we need to meet, along with highlighting the initiatives needed to get us there.

Part of continuous improvement is reviewing progress and adjusting accordingly. We are therefore pleased to share the encouraging results of Cloud’s second annual ESG report – Year End 2024.

The whole business from Cloud colleagues and supply chain partners, through to our client-facing teams, have made great strides.

Cloud ESG Report CY 2024

The key highlights of our 2024 report are the following reductions measured against 2023:

– We assigned a new Governance lead, our Finance Director Kate Chamberlain has taken responsibility for governance, supporting risk assessments, ensuring anti-corruption guardrails and overseeing quality management.
– An outstanding eNPS (employee net promoter score) of 69, we continue to outshine the industry average of 25.
– Exceeded our overall ESG score of 61 – achieving a score of 71. Putting us on track for Ecovadis Platinum by 2026.
– Scope 1 natural gas CO2 down 57%
– Scope 1 fleet CO2 down 66%
– Scope 2 electricity CO2 down 100% – due to entirely renewable electricity
– Business travel CO2 down 2%
– Achieved Investors in People Gold in 2024!
– Health and Safety incidents down 45%
– ISO 27001 for information security achieved in 2024
– 100% of employees trained in anti-corruption policies and procedures
– All business departments carried out corruption risk assessments

Focus areas for 2025-26:

– Ecovadis score to Platinum level
– Improve our quality management system tools
– Accurately calculate >60% supply chain CO2 emissions
– Launch a new performance management system
– Develop leaders in the business
– Improve supply chain recognition systems and feedback

Cloud are externally assessed by Ecovadis (currently holding the Gold badge) with the goal to reach Platinum by the end of 2025, and we are registered with the Science-Based Target initiative (SBTi)
