Minor updates to Cloudfm App

Just to let you know, we launched version 6.09 of our app earlier today. You probably won’t have noticed much difference as we mainly addressed minor issues, but here are some of the more obvious updates:

  • There are now clearer instructions for each section (letting you know what the app is doing)
  • If the engineer attends site later than the SLA required, this is shown in red
  • A reminder screen will make it more obvious when a new version is available

We have also addressed some layout issues that affected an early version on Android devices.

There are two further changes scheduled for the next app release that we want to give you advance notice of. The closing screen will ask engineers to state why they believe the work was necessary (i.e. equipment failure or customer misuse), and engineers will also be able to upload a ‘quote detail form’ while on site. This facility will enable your estimators to capture specific information from your engineers, helping them to create more accurate quotations in a shorter space of time.

Finally, we will be introducing a new F-Gas section for refrigeration and air conditioning tasks in which we will request the legal information required to comply with F-Gas regulations.

We’ll let you know the launch date for these new features nearer the time.
