Cloudfm has been proud to support Team Mila, a fundraising group set up by the family of one of our engineers to generate funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, for some years. Mila has the condition Cystic Fibrosis, a life-shortening genetic condition which slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The money raised for Team Mila by Cloudfm employees, will allow her parents to purchase a life-changing respiratory vest to help with her breathing, and reduce respiratory infections.
Recently, we were lucky to receive a visit from Sean Whittam from car rental company, Enterprise, who presented a cheque for £1,500 to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The donation, accepted on behalf of our CEO, Jeff Dewing, was awarded by the Enterprise Holdings Foundation which provides charitable support to worthwhile, non-profit initiatives that are actively supported by the company’s employees.
This donation will go a long way in helping sufferers of Cystic Fibrosis, just like Mila, and their families, by giving support and funding research into the condition.
